Congratulations to the Class of 2019

Congratulations to our graduating chiefs who were recognized at the SAUSHEC graduation ceremony on 7 June. Tom Wood took home the Commander's Award for Surgical Research for his paper "Being Prepared for the Next Conflict, Part 2: Case Analysis of a Military Level I Trauma Center." Tom is headed to Keesler AFB, MS for his first assignment. Genevieve Rambau will be going to HSS for a hand fellowship, Dan Kopolovich to Langley AFB, VA and Sean Moroze to Eglin AFB, FL. We look forward to these superb surgeons carrying forward the legacy of the SAMMC residency.

  • The Class of 2013 is still the only class to step up and sponsor a hole for this year's golf tournament. Word is the 2018 crew is close.

  • Please go to the Omer Day page on our website and register if you will be attending on 20 June at La Cantera. We hope you will join us for the research day. Contact us if you want to attend the gold tournament.

  • The ABOS Part II review is on for Wednesday, 19 June at the Arthrex/Medinc. building. Planned start around 1700. Contact Tom Dowd for details.

From left, our PCs, Pam Spradley and Wanda Williams, join our new graduates, Sean Moroze, Dan Kopolovich, Genevieve Rambau and Tom Wood.
